Refitting

(Cont. Op. 5010A16)

• Lower the vehicle.
• Unscrew screws (1a)fastening the engine coolant tank(1b) and take it off the support.
• Take off the engine coolant pipe from the tank.

• Take the water return pipe from the heater out from the fastening straps.
• Take out the fuses/relay group from the support and move it without disconnecting the electrical connections.
• Partially remove the engine compartment gasket.
• Unscrew the screws (3a) of the soundproofing guard (3b) and remove it.

1. Take out the water return pipe from the heater and remove it.

Refitting

Note: Before refitting the pipe check it is not damaged or has cracks that could influence the seal.

• Reposition the water return pipe from the heater.
• Insert the water return pipe on the heater.
• Insert the pipe on the engine coolant tank.
• Assemble the engine coolant tank and fasten with its screws.
• Raise the vehicle.
• Insert the coolant inlet pipe on the water pump.
• Assemble the engine compartment protection and fasten with its screws.
• Lower the vehicle.
• Assemble the soundproofing guard and fasten with the screws.
• Fit the engine compartment gasket.
• Reposition the fuses/relay group and fit it on the support.
• Fit the water return pipe from the heater in the fastening straps.
• Complete with Op. 5530B10 BATTERY - R.R.
• Connect the negative (-) battery terminal

• Fill the engine cooling system with coolant
