3. Unscrew screws(3a)of the soundproofing guard (3b) and remove it.

1. Take out the water delivery pipe from the heater and remove it.

Refitting

Note: Before refitting the pipe check it is not damaged and has no cracks that could influence the seal.

• Refit the water delivery pipe to the heater.
• Insert the water delivery pipe on the heater.
• Insert the pipe on the engine cooling tank.
• Assemble the engine coolant tank and fasten with its screws.
• Raise the vehicle.
• Insert the sleeve on the coolant inlet pipe to the water pump.
• Insert the engine coolant lower sleeve on the radiator.
• Fit the engine coolant pipe in the straps on the rear of the engine cooling radiator.
• Assemble the engine compartment protection and fasten with its screws.
• Lower the vehicle.
• Assemble the soundproofing guard and fasten with the screws.
• Fit the engine compartment gasket.
• Reposition the fuses/relay group and fit it on the support.
• Fit the water delivery pipe to the heater in the fastening straps.
• Complete with Op. 1048A10 COMPLETE AIR CLEANER - R+R.
• Assemble the air cleaner thermostatic device with the dashpot and fasten with the screws.
• Insert the hot air intake sleeve on the exhaust manifold.
• Complete with Op. 5530B10 BATTERY - R.R.
• Connect the negative (-) battery terminal

• Fill the engine cooling system with coolant

• Screw the plug on the engine coolant tank.
• Remove the body protection cover.
• Close the engine compartment.
• Remove the vehicle from the shop jack.

Removal

• Position the vehicle on a shop jack.
• Open the engine compartment.
• Assemble the body protection covers.
• Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
