5520A14 - IGNITION SWITCH KEY BLOCK - R.R.

Orders for key block only or blocks with spare code only cannot be accepted.
Follow the specific procedure for ordering blocks shown in 5580E - Special accessories.

Removal

  1. Remove the fastening screws (1a) and remove the lower half box (1b).

  1. Insert the ignition key and turn to MAR.
  2. Pull back the retaining tooth.
  3. Remove the key block.

Refitting

  • Check the block is not damaged.
  • Insert the ignition key and turn to MAR.
  • Insert the block in the ignition switch and clip back retaining tooth in seat.
  • Check block operation.
  • Assemble the lower half box and screw the fastening screws.
Remove the ignition key.

5520A16 - IGNITION SWITCH KEY BLOCK - REPLACED WITH SPARE

Orders for key block only or blocks with spare code only cannot be accepted.
Follow the specific procedure for ordering blocks shown in 5580E - Special accessories.

Removal

  • Perform Op. 5520A14 - IGNITION SWITCH KEY BLOCK - R.R.
  1. Leave the key inserted. Remove the snap ring.
  2. Turn the key to PARK and press button (2a). Partially extract the key to release the block (2b).
  3. Remove the revolving plug.

Refitting

  • Insert the revolving plug.
  • Turn the key to MAR and do not extract it.
  • Assemble the snap ring.
  • Complete with Op. 5520A14 - IGNITION SWITCH KEY BLOCK - R.R.
