• Carefully clean the rear window seat with compressed air and degrease thoroughly with heptane and disposable paper.

• Check that the window is not damaged.

1. Working on the rear window (1a), cut and level the sealant cord (1b) to reduce the thickness to a minimum.

It is not necessary to remove completely the remaining sealant.

• Using compressed air carefully clean the silk screen perimeter area of the window and degrease with heptane and disposable paper.

• Use a new seal.
• Fit the seal on the window perimeter.

1. Use the suction cups (1a) and place the window(1b) in its seat with a second operator help,mark the window right alignment in its seat with masking tape stripes(1c).

• Cut the masking tape stripes, remove the window and place it on the stand with the help of a second operator.

• Check that the heated window is efficient and if necessary test the electrical operation.

1. With an air gun, extrude the sealant cord along the rear window as regularly as possible. Start the operation from the lower side centre and proceed without stopping along the entire rear window perimeter.

1. With the help of a second operator, position the window in its seat, consider the adjustment references (1a), position the belt as shown in the figure (1b) and tension it to exert a uniform pressure on the entire window to ensure perfect coupling between window(1c), sealant (1d) and frame (1e).
