Refitting

(Cont. Op. 7035B10)

• Disconnect the rear window electrical connection.

1. Take off the perimetric seal(1a) remove the spray(1b), apply masking tape (1c) to protect the bodywork edges in contact with the rear window.

1. Work from inside the vehicle, using the vibrating knife(1a) with blade(1b) and cut the sealant cord (1c) that fastens the rear window along the side and upper perimeters (1d).

1. Work from outside the vehicle using the vibrating knife (1a) with blade (1b) and complete the sealant cut along the lower perimeter (1c), apply the suction cup handles on the rear window (1d) and with the help of a second operator remove the rear window (1e).

Refitting

1. Cut and level the cord of sealant(1a) in rear window compartment so as to leave a thickness (1b) between 0,25 and 1 mm.

Note: The sealant thickness remained on the rear window compartment will be a support for a new glueing.
