	Connect a digital multimeter (set to read Ohm) between connector K94 pin 3 and earth. >1 kΩ should be read.	Go to Step 2	If < 1 kΩ is read, there is a short circuit to earth.	Restore correct connection (wiring diagram: E7040 "ELECTRONIC CLUTCH")
	2		CHECK THROTTLE POTENTIOMETER K94	Perform the next check	If a value other than ~ 5 kΩ is read, the potentiometer resistance is damaged or broken.	Replace potentiometer K94 PROCEDURE OP. 1820E64
Disconnect connector K94 and turn the key to STOP. Connect a digital multimeter (set to read Ohm) between connector K94 pins 2 and 3. ~ 5 kΩ should be read		End of test	Move the potentiometer lever (complete range). If a value other than 2 ÷ 5 kΩ is read, the potentiometer cursor is damaged.	Replace potentiometer K94 PROCEDURE OP. 1820E64
