The relay J20 controls the compressor engagement circuit.

The contact for the relay J20 is supplied directly by the battery via the line for the 30A shunt fuse B51.

The coil for the relay is supplied by the contact for relay J10 via the 20A fuse for B5 (E5030). Therefore J10 is supplied when the ignition is switched on and the control unit M10 earths pin 86 (E5030).

Pressing the air conditioning button supplies the frost sensor K86 pin 1, via pin 3 of connector A of the switch unit H90.

The frost sensor K86 signal, is connected, via the pressure switch K5, to the control unit M10 pin 27 connector A.

According to its internal control logic, when the temperature requires it and the pressure allows it, the control unit M10 sends the command to engage the compressor (from pin 12) which energizes the relay J20.

The relay operates the solenoid valve, at 12 V, which switches on the air conditioning compressor L20.

The air conditioning button takes the supply from pin 1 connector C (H90) via the 7.5A fuse B10. Fuse F24 is supplied by the control for relay C inside the junction unit B1. The relay C is controlled by the ignition switch, INT/A line, via the 7.5A fuse F12.

The supply for lighting the switch panel H90 is produced by connecting pin 5 of connector A of H90 to the 10A fuse F22 of B1.

The earth C20 lights up H90 via pin 9 of connector A.
