RUMOROSITA (fischio/soffio) sospensioni ANTERIORI

Whilst driving, especially on unmade roads, there are whistling type noises coming from the front suspension. This fault diagnosis can only be carried out after the See table S15 RUMOROSITA in condizioni di marcia. Carry out the latter first.

If the problem is only on one side, carry out the checks and any necessary operations on the appropriate side only

	Having carried out the road test during the See table S15 RUMOROSITA in condizioni di marcia, a whistling noise was noticed coming from the front. Continue depending on the circumstances in which the noise occurs	End of diagnosis	The noise increases round bends	Replace the wheel bearing on the side where the noise is loudest Op. 4450C32
		End of diagnosis	The noise increases in vertical oscillation conditions	Continue to Step 1
1	SHOCK ABSORBER STEM CHECK	All OK	Problems met	Operation
	Check that the noise is not due to friction between the shock absorber stem and the seal, by getting underneath the vehicle on a trolley	End of diagnosis	Friction is noticed	Lubricate the stem with a layer of silicon grease. If the noise persists, replace the shock absorber Op. 4450A12)
