  1. Remove 5 bolts securing cover to coolant pump.
  2. Remove cover and discard ’O’ ring.
  3. Remove coolant pump from housing and discard ’O’ ring.

Refit

  1. Clean coolant pump housing and mating faces.
  2. Lubricate NEW ’O’ rings and fit to coolant pump and coolant pump cover.
  3. Fit coolant pump and cover.
  4. Fit 5 bolts and tighten to 10 Nm.
  5. Connect hose to coolant pump housing and tighten clip.
  6. Fit top hose to engine and secure clip.
  7. Connect top hose to radiator, coolant rail and oil cooler.Secure hose clips.
  8. Fit alternator. See ELECTRICAL, Repairs.
  9. Refill cooling system. See Adjustments.
