- Remove 2 bolts and remove drivers foot rest.
- Pull back carpet for access to control and diagnostic unit protective cover.
- Remove 2 retaining studs and remove protective cover from control and diagnostic unit.
NOTE: Remove cover from RH side.
- Remove Torx screw securing airbag harness earth wire to control unit bracket.
- Disconnect multiplug from control and diagnostic unit.
- Disconnect 2 multiplugs from passenger airbag.
