Loosen bolt (5) after immobilizing the gear with its setting pin.

REMOVE:

  • The valve cover bolts (6) in a spiral, working from the outside in.
  • The valve cover (7).
  • Bolt (5) and its washer (8).
  • The pulley/hub assembly (9).

Loosen the bolts (10) progressively in a spiral, working from the outside in.

REMOVE:

  • The bolts (10).
  • The bearing caps (11), taking care to note their position.
  • The camshaft (12).
