Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Pressing-off lever -T20143/1-
  W00-2958
t  pressure tool -T40008-
t  Grease -G 052 128 A1-
Operation process
–  Remove gearbox.
–  Remove clutch release lever with release bearing and guide sleeve → Chapter
–  Lever out seal for input shaft using lever -T20143/1-.
  Note
Do not damage running surface of input shaft for oil seal.

–  Pack space between sealing lip and dust lip -arrow- half-full with sealing grease -G 052 128 A1-.
–  Lightly moisten outer circumference of oil seal with gear oil.

Driving in input shaft oil seal flush
–  Install clutch release lever with release bearing and guide sleeve → Chapter
–  Install gearbox.
