Caution | To prevent leakage in the different systems of the battery cover, thread the original caps tightly on the battery cells. In the event of leakage or faults, only original caps of the same model may be used. |

| The level of the battery acid is an important factor for a long useful life of the battery. |

| To check the level of the battery acid with a visible min. and max. mark, a visual check of the battery is sufficient. |

| The acid level must be above the min. mark, but not above the max. mark. |

| On batteries where it is difficult to see the min. and max. mark for acid, or visibility of the acid level is impeded by an opaque battery casing, the caps must be removed. Then the acid level can be checked by eye inside the battery. |

| The acid level must cover the plastic core at the inside acid level mark. This corresponds to the max. mark for the acid. |
