Technical Description - Co-driver's Airbag

Co-driver's Airbag  

Relative to the driver's airbag, the co-driver's airbag is positioned much further forward, resulting in a bigger gap to the co-driver.  

The co-driver's airbags cushion has a volume of 120 ltr.  

The co-driver's airbag is installed above the glove compartment.  

The electrical plug connection is located below the co-driver's airbag. It can be separated after deployment and thus allows the wiring harness to be reused, provided that it has not been mechanically or thermally damaged.  

Notice: 

Vehicles with the co-driver's airbag do not permit the installation of stage 1 child/infant safety seats on the co-driver's seat.
