Driver's Airbag The driver's airbag consists of the inflator, the cushion, the module cap and all necessary assembly parts. It is bolted to the steering wheel as an assembly. The horn buttons are covered by the module cap. The driver's airbag cushion has a volume of 60 ltr. The electrical connection runs from the control unit via the contact unit installed behind the steering wheel to the airbag unit. • Service The installed airbags and pyro-technical seat belt tensioners are deployed using Special Service Tool KM-799 and Adapter KM-799-4. |
