t | Welding and straightening work on steering components is not permitted. |
t | Use only steering box grease -A0F 063 000 04- for greasing steering rack. |
t | Fluid type: hydraulic fluid -G 002 000-. |
t | Fluid capacity in system: 0.7 ... 0.9 l. |
t | Routing of suction and pressure line hoses → Chapter. |

q | Inner diameter ZF: 50 mm TRW: 44 mm. |

q | Diameter of ball joint on seat for bellows ZF: 15 mm Ø TRW: 12.7 mm Ø. |
q | Must not be installed on a ZF power steering box. |

q | Can be renewed with steering box installed. |

q | Checking steering torque → Fault finding Running gear No. 16. |

q | Steering box with reduced steering torque, only for vehicles up to 85 kW. |
q | 16V and VR6 vehicles have a higher steering torque of approx. 2 Nm. |
