  1. Remove the silencer assembly.
  2. Automatic Gearbox Only.
    Remove the gearbox coolant pipes.

Remove the coolant thermostat from it’s mounting bracket.

7.2

Disconnect the coolant pipes from the gearbox.

7.3

Cap the pipes open ends.

Gearbox ends are self sealing.

8.

Automatic Transaxle Only.
Disconnect the following from the transaxle:

  • Wiring harness plugs
Disconnect Plugs on wiring harness and Disconnect manual override cable on automatic transaxle
  • Manual override cable

9.

Manual Transaxle Only.
Disconnect the wiring harness plug.

Disconnect Plug on manual transaxle wiring harness
  1. Remove accessible bolts from around the torque tube.
    Do not remove the lower bolts (x2) facing towards the gearbox.
