Removing-refitting power unit (page 7 of 11)

1. Undo the bracket retaining the injection cables from the bulkhead between the passenger compartment and the engine compartment and disconnect the connector shown in the inset.

2. Working from inside the vehicle, remove the glove compartment.

3. Disconnect the electrical supply connection for the glove compartment light.

4. Disconnect the electrical connection from the injection/ignition control unit and the fuses/relays from the mounting bracket, then extract the wiring through the opening in the bulkhead between the engine compartment and the passenger compartment.

5. Disconnect the first section of the exhaust pipe acting on the fixings shown in the diagram;.
