Operation 7015B18 · TAILGATE CLOSING/OPENING DEVICES

Removing

- Open the tailgate.

- Lift up the edge of the carpet in the luggage compartment.

Op. 7040B22 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT/LOAD PLATFORM MOULDING - R+R

1. Undo the fixing bolts (1a) and remove the striker (1b).

Refitting

- Check that the striker is not damaged.

- Position the striker and screw in the fixing bolts without tightening them.

The arrows indicate the possible movements.

1. Adjust the position of the striker (1a) and tighten the fixing bolts (1b).

Op. 7040B22 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT/LOAD PLATFORM MOULDING - R+R

- Check that the tailgate opens and closes correctly.
