1.9 JTD 8v

Removing

1. Remove the engine oil filler plug.

2. Undo the fixing bolts (2a) and remove the sound proofing cover (2b).

Refitting

- Place the sound proofing cover back in its housing and secure it using the bolts.

- Place the engine oil filler cap in its housing.

1.9 JTD 16v

Removing

- Remove the engine oil filler plug.

- Undo the fixing bolts and remove the soundproofing cover.

- Place the engine oil filler cap in its housing.

Refitting

- Remove the engine oil filler plug.

- Place the soundproofing cover back in its housing and secure it using the bolts.

- Place the engine oil filler cap in its housing.

2.4 JTD 20v

Removing

1. Release the soundproof cover from its fastenings and remove.

Refitting

- Place the sound insulation cover back in its housing
