1.2 8v, 1.3 JTD 16V

Removing

Place the car on a ramp.

1. Undo the plugs (1a) and remove the rear guard (1b).

2. Undo the plugs (2a) and remove the front guard (2b).

Refitting

Fit the bottom guard and secure it with its retaining plugs.

Fit the rear guard and secure it with its retaining plugs.

Remove the vehicle from the ramp.

1.4 8v, 1.6 16v

Removing

Place the car on a lift.

1. Undo the plugs (1a) and remove the rear guard (1b).

2. Undo the plugs (2a) and remove the front guard (2b).

Refitting

Fit the bottom guard and secure it with its retaining plugs.

Fit the rear guard and secure it with its retaining plugs.

Remove the vehicle from the ramp.

1.9 DIESEL

Removing

Place the car on a ramp.

1. Undo the plugs (1a) and remove the rear guard (1b).

2. Undo the plugs (2a) and remove the front guard (2b).

Refitting

Fit the bottom guard and secure it with its retaining plugs.

Fit the rear guard and secure it with its retaining plugs.

Remove the vehicle from the ramp.
