HEADLAMP ALIGNMENT ADJUSTMENT DESCRIPTION

Description

The car is fitted with a device that allows the headlamp light beam to be adjusted for load directly from the driver''s seat. The correct headlamp alignment is quickly achieved in this way.

The adjustment device takes the form of a motor fitted on both dipped beams. It is able to tilt the headlamps to lower the light beam if the car is particularly loaded and raise the lamps when the load reduces.

A control on the facia next to the instrument panel allows a choice of four possible positions.

The device is enabled only with the dipped beams on.

The headlamp alignment circuit is protectd by the dipped headlamp circuit fuses located in the underfacia junction unit.
