HEATED SEATS DESCRIPTION

Description

The left front seat can also be equipped, on request, with a special heating system (which consists of a heater element located in the cushion): it allows the seat to be warmed up which is advantageous in very cold climates. The left front seat can also be equipped, on reqeust, with a special heating system (which consists of a heater element located in the cushion): this allows the seat to be heated to overcome the discomfort of cold passenger compartments in very harsh climates, e.g. when the car is left in the open for long periods in winter.

The heating device located in the seat consists of two resistors activated by a switch located on the seat.

Once a certain temperature has been reached the heating stops automatically thanks to a thermal contact inside the actual device.

The circuit is controlled by the services relay and protected by a special fuse both located in the optional junction unit under the dashboard.
