ASR FUNCTION WILL NOT GO OFF

When the button for deactivating the ASR function is pressed "ASR switched off" is not displayed in the panel for 5 seconds and the LED in the button does not light up; the function is not deactivated

1	CHECK USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
		Results of the tests
	Connect the Examiner Plus or Smart diagnostic equipment to the diagnostic connector and check the following at the brake node in the errors ambient: - that there are no faults In the parameters ambient: - that the ASR button parameter changes status when the button in question is pressed	Move on to Step 2	1. Presence of errors in the control unit 2. The parameter does not change status	1. Proceed as instructed by the diagnostic tester 2. Move on to Step 3
2	ACTIVE DIAGNOSIS WITH DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
	Keeping the diagnostic equipment connected carry out the active diagnosis of: - pump motor; - solenoid valves	End of diagnosis	Fault detected in one of the solenoid valves	Replace the electrohydraulic unit - ABS electronic control unit Op. 3340A12 ABS HYDRAULIC AND ELECTRONIC CONTROL UNIT - R.R.
3	SWITCH CHECK	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
	Check the operation of the ASR switch checking that there is a short circuit with the button pressed and an open circuit with the button released See E7021 INSTRUMENT PANEL AND INDICATORS	Move on to Step 4	Switch defective	Replace the ASR switch
4	SWITCH CONNECTIONS CHECK	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
	Check the continuity of the ASR switch circuit See E7021 INSTRUMENT PANEL AND INDICATORS	End of diagnosis	No continuity/insulation	Restore the correct connections See E7021 INSTRUMENT PANEL AND INDICATORS
