The radiofrequency dialogue function takes place over four main stages which can be summarized as:

  • receiving the message;
  • deciphering the message;
  • verifying the message received;
  • deciding.

CENTRAL LOCKING FUNCTION

The passenger compartment protection control unit (C.P.H.) manages the engagement of the central locking on the vehicle.

The switching on/off of the central locking can take place:

  • mechanically, by inserting the ignition key in one of the two front door locks;
  • via the radiofrequency control in the transmitter;
  • by acting directly on the door locking/release knobs on the front locks.

Central locking function using radiofrequency transmitter

The central locking for the doors, using the radiofrequency transmitter (button 1) can only be engaged if there is no supply (+15) in the ignition key for at least 3 seconds.

This is to prevent accidental engagement, whilst the ignition key is being removed from the ignition switch, through the button on the transmitter.

The central locking is disengaged by pressing the button (2) on the ignition key.
