RADIOFREQUENCY FUNCTION

This system allows the remote central locking function.

The system consists of:

• Radiofrequency transmitter incorporated in the key;
• radiofrequency receiver in the passenger compartment protection control unit (C.P.H.).

The dialogue between the transmitter and the receiver takes place at radiofrequencu, the C.P.H. allows up to four keys with a radiofrequency code to be programmed.

It is possible to access the memory inside the control unit through the C.P.H. memory access code on the card in the possession of the owner.

This operation allows the initial programming of the radiofrequency codes or the entering/changing of an individual code.

NOTE All the operations involved in programming or entering radiofrequency codes in the C.P.H. can only be carried out using the diagnostic equipment.

New synchronization

When the radiofrequency transmitter has been switched on/off a certain number of times (about 255), the function is inhibited.

In this case the radiofrequency function is "desynchronized", therefore no further operations can be carried out.

In order to synchronize it again, simply turn the ignition key to position M (+15) and press one of the buttons on the key once.

Radiofrequency receiver

The radiofrequency receiver in the passenger compartment protection control unit (C.P.H.) allows the processing of the code sent by the transmitter, 3 seconds after the interruption of the supply (+15) with the ignition key switched off.
