Transponder receiver (aerial)

This component, located inside the ignition switch, has the task of recognizing the transponder code supplied with the ignition key.

The dialogue between the key and the receiver is electro-magnetic.

The receiver, connected directly to the passenger compartment protection control unit (C.P.H.), provides the key access code.
