2. Slacken the screws (2a) of the damper (2b) and remove it.

Refitting

Note: When replacing dampers adhere to the following instructions.
- If the dampers have been used for over 20,000/25,000 Km always replace both dampers of each axle, taking care to assemble dampers of the same type provided as spares on the same axle.
- If the dampers have been used for less than 20,000/25,000 Km only one damper may be replaced, provided that it is of the same type and after checking that the other damper is in perfect conditions.

• Assemble the damper and fasten it with its screws to the specified torque

• Remove the hydraulic jack.
• Lower the car and remove it from the shop jack.

4420A34 - REAR SUSPENSION DAMPER (ONE - REMAINING) - R+R. FOLLOWING OP. 4420A30

• Follow Op. 4420A30 Rear suspension DAMPER (one) lh or rh - R+R.

4420A35 - REAR SUSPENSION DAMPERS - R+R.

• Follow Op. 4420A30 Rear suspension DAMPER (one) lh or rh - R+R.

4420A40 - REAR SUSPENSION COIL SPRING (ONE) LH OR RH - R+R.

Removal

• Place the car on a hoist and raise it.
• Partially compress the suspension using a hydraulic jack.
• Carry out Op. 4420A30 Rear suspension DAMPER (one) lh or rh - R+R.
• Remove the hydraulic jack.

1. Withdraw the rear coil spring.
