OPERATIONS

7090A10 - BONNET LID - R.R. AND ADAPTATION FOR REPLACEMENT

Removal

  • Carry out op. 7025A14 Bonnet lid - R.R.
  • Check if there are deformations to the connected parts through body square dimension checks, using suitable means of survey (test benches, templates or calipers).
  • Carry out possible body straightening operations.

Reassembly

  • Position spare part on stand and assemble lock.
  • Temporarily place bonnet lid (1a) and connect it with screws (1b) but do not tighten them.
  • Check perfect adjustment.
  • Remove bonnet lid after having unscrewed relevant screws.
  • Remove lock from bonnet lid.

  1. Seal bonnet lid on zones shown in figure.
