Reassembly

• Remove door sill.

• Remove PVC treatment from door sill lower edge.
• Unpin welding spots along door sill edge perimeter.
• Remove door sill plate off-cuts.
• Straighten plate edges of door sill seat with hammer and shaped stake.

1. Remove welding spot residuals with disk grinding wheel .

Reassembly

• Position spare part and secure it with self-locking clamps.

1. Cut door sill overlap edges with circular saw so as to obtain two perfect connecting lines .

• Remove spare part.
• Remove exceeding plate off-cuts from door sill.

• Straighten plate edges of door sill seat with hammer and shaped stake.

1. Apply weldable paint on whole perimeter of door sill seat.

• Remove inhibiting treatment on whole perimeter of spare inner and outer part with disk grinding wheel.

1. Apply weldable paint on zones affected by grinding.

1. Position spare part (1a), fasten it with self-locking clamps and bend fixing tabs (1b).
