Reassembly

  1. Cut spare part at prescribed dimension.
    - Remove on whole perimeter of spare part outer and inner side inhibiting treatment with disk grinding wheel.
  2. Apply weldable paint on zones affected by grinding.

  • Position spare part and check correct positioning on body, then fasten it with self-locking clamps.
  1. Weld rail connection with MIG welder arc welding.
  • Correct possible plate deformations with shaped stake and hammer.
  • Clean zones affected by welding with disk grinding wheel.

Removal

  • Check if there are deformations to connected components through body square dimension checks, using suitable means of survey (test benches, templates or calipers).
  • Carry out possible body straightening operations.

  1. Cut floor along cutting lines shown on figure with hack sawing machine.
  • Remove load compartment floor.
