  1. Free the check strap(4a) from the retaining bracket and lift and remove the door(4b).

Refitting

  • Reposition the door on the hinges.
  1. Insert the check strap (1a)in its seating and tighten the bolts (1b)to the specified torque,and then insert the flexible pin(1c)in its seating using the appropriate tools (1d), (1e).

  • Reposition the wiring in its seating and connect the connector and then refit the moulding using the retaining bolts.

Removal

  1. Loosen the hinge retaining bolts.
  2. Remove the hinge (2a)and recover any shims (2b).

Refitting

  • Refit the hinge.
  • Any use of the shims will be defined during the door adjustment and centring phase.
  • Tighten the retaining bolts, without locking them.
