  1. Disconnect the electrical connection from the door lock.

  1. Loosen the retaining bolts (2a) and remove the wiring bundle support bracket(2b)from the door and move it to one side.

  1. Loosen the retaining bolts (1a) detach the door opening tie-rod (1b)and remove the lock.

Refitting

  • Position the door locking device and secure it with the retaining bolts.
  • Refit the door opening and closing tie-rod.
  • Connect the door locking device electrical connection.
  • Fix the wiring carrier bracket using the retaining bolts.
  • Carry out Op. 7005D22 - WINDOW GUIDE (ONE) OF SIDE DOOR WINDOW DESCENDER - R.R. with door panel ( and support frame ) removed.
  • Carry out Op. 7005C35 - FRONT SIDE DOOR LOCK - R.R.
  • Reposition the water guard.

7005N21 - MOTOR / DOOR LOCKING SYSTEM ASSEMBLY ON ONE FRONT DOOR, LH OR RH - R.R.

Removal

  • Carry out Op. 7005E34 - INTERNAL OR EXTERNAL MOULDING ON FRONT SIDE DOOR FRAME - R.R.
  • Carry out Op. 7005E18 - FRONT SIDE DOOR ARM REST - R.R.
  • Carry out Op. 7005E10 - FRONT SIDE DOOR INNER PANEL - R.R.
  • Partly detach the water guard.
  • Carry out Op. 7005N20 - MOTOR / DOOR LOCKING SYSTEM ASSEMBLY ON ONE FRONT DOOR, LH or RH - R.R. with door panel and support frame removed.

Refitting

  • Complete with Op. 7005N20 - MOTOR / DOOR LOCKING SYSTEM ASSEMBLY ON ONE FRONT DOOR, LH or RH - R.R. with door panel and support frame removed.
  • Reposition the water guard.
  • Complete with Op. 7005E10 - FRONT SIDE DOOR INNER PANEL - R.R.
  • Complete with Op. 7005E18 - FRONT SIDE DOOR ARMREST - R.R.
  • Complete with Op. 7005E34 - INTERNAL OR EXTERNAL MOULDING ON FRONT SIDE DOOR FRAME - R.R.
