  1. Unloose the striker fixing screws (1a) and adjust the hatchback door position, arrows (1b) show the striker movements (1c).

Reassembly

  • Tighten the striker fixing screws to the prescribed torque.

7015A14 - HATCHBACK DOOR - CENTRING AND PROFILING ADJUSTMENT- CARRY OUT HINGE AND SEAL POSITIONING ON COMPARTMENT

Removal

  • Lift the hatchback door.
  1. Partly remove the hatchback door seal.
  2. Remove the snap fasteners (2a) which secure the roof panel trim 2b) in the rear area with proper tool(2c).

  1. Properly lower the roof panel trim and position suitable spacers(1b), then unloose hinge fixing screws (1c) and adjust the hatchback door posi-tion, arrows (1d) show the possible hatchback doormovements.
  2. Tighten the screws to the prescribed torque.

  1. If necessary operate on rubber pads.
  2. If necessary adjust the striker position of hatch-back door locking, refer to Op. 7015A10 HATCH-BACK DOOR STRIKER ADJUSTMENT AND POS-SIBLE SEAL POSITIONING.
