(Op. 7015B44 continued)

1. Remove the retainer (1a)which secures the hatchback door device transmission to the rear light unit, then tie the transmission end (1b) with a short rope(1c).

2. Work from the passenger compartment inside, withdraw the transmission (1a) of the hatchback door unlocking device ,leaving the short rope(1b) inside the door sill so as to make the following reassembly easier.

Reassembly

• Properly tie the transmission end of hatchback door unlocking device with the previously placed short rope.
• Work on the short rope and replace the transmission of hatchback door unlocking device in the proper seat.
• Lock the transmission of hatchback door unlocking device with the proper retainer to the rear light unit seat and the fixing bands on the body.
• Position in its seat the front seat belt and fasten with the fixing screw and the fixingcap.
• Complete with Op. 7015B42 - HATCHBACK DOOR UNLOCKING INNER CONTROL - R.R.
• Complete Op. 7015B18 - HATCHBACK DOOR ONE LOCK STRIKER - R.R.
• Complete Op. 7040L40 - SILL BOARD OF A DOOR OPENING, lh or rh - R.R.
• Complete Op. 7045A10 - FRONT SEAT (one), lh or rh - R.R.
• Complete Op. 7040A46 - REAR VALANCE PANEL (one) or lh or rh - R.R.
• Complete Op. 5540A44 - REAR LIGHT - R.R.
