D01 Engine running irregularly (hesitant)

The engine is running irregularly under all conditions (load, speed, etc.).

In particular, "hesitation" is noted, i.e. failure or delay in response to the accelerator pedal

Preliminarily check:
– lack of water, other fluids or dirt in the fuel tank
– condition of spark plugs
– fuel filter clogged up
– condition of fuel delivery pipe

1		CHECK WITH DIAGNOSTIC TOOL Connect the diagnostic tool (Examiner or other tool) to the diagnostic socket. Check for: - absence of faults in the engine ECU - plausibility of all parameters	All OK Go to Step 2	Problems found	Intervention
			All OK Go to Step 2	Failed conversation with the ECU	Restore the connection between the engine ECU and the diagnostic socket (Wiring diagram: E5030 “ENGINE ELECTRONIC MANAGEMENT”)
			All OK Go to Step 3	Error detected in the ECU	Continue as shown by the diagnostic tool
			All OK Go to Step 3	Solenoid valve fault	Restore solenoid valve connection with the ECU, (Wiring diagram: E5030 “PETROL ENGINE ELECTRONIC MANAGEMENT”) or replace the solenoid valve PROCEDURE OP. 1080E28
2		ACTIVE TEST WITH THE DIAGNOSTIC TOOL With the diagnostic tool (Examiner or other tool) carry out active tests of: - fume recirculation solenoid valve - injector		Solenoid valve fault
			Injector fault	Restore injector connection with the ECU, (Wiring diagram: E5030 “ENGINE ELECTRONIC MANAGEMENT”) or replace injector PROCEDURE OP. 1056A70
