Front brake pads - replace

Removing

Place the car on a lift.

- 5530B56 BATTERY DRIP TRAY COVER - R.R.

Disconnect the battery negative terminal.

- 4450B12 front or rear wheels (two) - r+r

1. Unscrew the bolt securing the pad wear sensor cable bracket.

2. Connect the electrical connection for the brake pad wear sensor (only left side).

3. Unscrew the caliper bolts

Place the brake caliper to one side.

1. Prise up the disc and release the brake pads.

Refitting

Use the appropriate tool to move the front brake caliper cylinders back.

Place the brake pads in the housings.

Position the brake calipers.

Tighten the caliper bolts to the caliper mount.

Place the brake pad wear sensor cable bracket (only for left side) and tighten the retaining bolt.

Connect the electrical connection for the brake pad wear sensor (only left side).

Connect the battery negative terminal.

Remove the car from the ramps.
