1.8 16v

Removing

1. Undo the fixing bolts (1a) and remove the vibration-proof partition (1c) fastened to the oil sump.

2.4 20v

Removing

1. Undo the fixing bolts (1a) and remove the vibration-proof partition (1c) fastened to the oil sump.

1.9 JTD 8v

Removing

1. Undo the fixing bolts (1a) and remove the vibration-proof partition (1c) fastened to the oil sump.

1.8 16v

Removing

1. Undo the bolts (1a) and remove the crankcase oil sump partition (1b).

2.4 20v

Removing

1. Undo the bolts (1a) and remove the crankcase oil sump partition (1b).

1.9 JTD 8v

Removing

1. Remove the connector for the condensation oil return pipe to the sump.

2. Remove the inner connector for the condensation oil return pipe to the sump complete with O-ring.

3. Undo the bolts (3a) and remove the crankcase oil sump partition (3b).

1.9 JTD 16v

Removing

1. Undo and remove the engine oil level sensor.

2. Remove the connector for the condensation oil return pipe to the sump.

3. Undo the bolts (3a) and remove the crankcase oil sump partition (3b).

1.8 16v

Refitting

Fit the partition and tighten the fixing bolts on the oil sump.

2.4 20v

Refitting

Fit the partition and tighten the fixing bolts on the oil sump.

1.9 JTD 8v

Refitting

Fit the partition and tighten the fixing bolts on the oil sump.

1.8 16v

Refitting

Place the crankcase oil sump partition back in its housing and secure it using the bolts.

2.4 20v

Refitting

Place the crankcase oil sump partition back in its housing and secure it tightening the bolts to the recommended torque.

1.9 JTD 8v

Refitting

Fit the crankcase oil sump partition and fix it tightening the bolts to torque.

Fit the inner connector for the condensed oil return pipe to the sump complete with O-ring.

Fit the connector for the condensation oil return pipe to the sump.

1.9 JTD 16v

Refitting

Place the crankcase oil sump partition back in its housing and secure it using the bolts.

Place the connector for the condensation oil return pipe to the sump back in its housing.

Place the engine oil level sensor back in its housing and tighten it to the recommended torque.
