CLIMATE CONTROL NOT WORKING / (NO AIR DELIVERY)

The fan that sends air into the passenger compartment is not working.

The networks go on stand-by 30 mins after the engine is switched off. This makes it impossible to carry out the fault diagnosis. If a diagnostic session has to be opened, start up the engine to reawaken the networks.

STEP	OPERATIONS TO BE CARRIED OUT	TEST RESULTS
1	CHECK USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Connect the Examiner to the NBC and check the following in the errors ambient: that there are no errors	Move on to Step	1. VAN CONFORT network error	1. Restore the VAN Confort network connections and continuity between the NCL and NBC.
			2. VAN CAR 1 network error	2. Restore the VAN CAR 1 network connections and continuity between the NCL and NBC.
			3. Climate control system node error (NCL)	Move on to Step
2	CHECK USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Using the Examiner diagnostic equipment, carry out the active diagnosis of the fan at the different speeds.	Move on to Step	Fan not working	Replace the fan Op. 5040C30 FAN MOTOR - R+R
3	CHECK ON CORRECT OPERATION	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Check that the fault is no longer present		Fault persists	Replace the Climate control system node (NCL)
