Remote Handset Unlocking

A single press of the unlock button on the remote handset transmits a signal to the alarm receiver. The signal is sent direct to the CCU which initiates the removal of CDL and superlocking from the drivers door and removal of superlocking from the passenger door(s). The passenger door(s) remain CDL locked. This is known as single point entry.

A second press of the unlock button on the remote handset transmits a second signal to the alarm receiver. The signal is sent direct to the CCU which initiates removal of CDL locking from the passenger door(s).

After the first press of the unlock button, the CCU supplies an earth path from the drivers door CDL motor (C441-4) to the CCU (C430-4) on a pink wire.

Earth paths are provided for the superlock motors as follows:

• drivers door superlock motor (C441-8) to the header joint (C288-2) on a brown and pink wire.
• front passenger door superlock motor (C448-8) to the header joint (C288-4) on a brown and pink wire.
• (5 door models only) rear RH passenger door superlock motor (C442-8) to the header joint (C288-5) on a brown and pink wire.
• (5 door models only) rear LH passenger door superlock motor (C442-8) to the header joint (C288-3) on a brown and pink wire

From the header joint (C288-1), the earth path is connected to the CCU (C430-3) by a brown and pink wire.

The CCU supplies a feed (C430-7) on an orange wire to the header joint (C289-16). The feed is supplied from the header joint (C289-18) to the drivers door CDL and superlock motors (C441-7) by an orange wire. This fully unlocks the drivers door.
