Key Unlock Request
When the vehicle key is turned towards the front of the vehicle, an earth path is completed from the barrel switch in the drivers door lock motor (C441-3) to the CCU (C428-7) on a brown and red wire. The CCU interprets the earth path as a signal to initiate the Emergency Key Access (EKA) feature. Alarm perimetric and volumetric protection will be suspended and the drivers door will be manually unlocked. The engine immobilization will remain activated until the EKA procedure is completed successfully.
CDL Switch Locking
Operation of the CDL switch will CDL lock the doors.
An earth is connected by a black wire from the CDL switch (C328-1), via a header joint (C290-4/C290-5), to an earth header joint (C550-3). When the CDL switch is operated in the lock position, an earth path is completed from the CCU (C428-20) to the CDL switch (C328-4) on a black and brown wire. The CCU interprets the completion of the earth path as a signal to CDL lock all the doors.
The CDL locking procedure and wiring paths is as described in ’Key Lock Request (CDL Locking)’.
