The CCU (C430-7) supplies a feed on an orange wire to header joint (C289-16). The feed supplies power to the door CDL lock motors and unlocks the doors. The feed is connected from the header joint as follows:

  • (C289-18) to drivers door CDL lock motor (C441-7) on an orange wire.
  • (C289-19) to front passenger door CDL lock motor (C441-8) on an orange wire.
  • (5 door models only) (C289-17) to rear RH passenger door CDL lock motor (C442-7) on an orange wire.
  • (5 door models only) (C289-20) to rear LH passenger door CDL lock motor (C442-7) on an orange wire.

The CCU initiates an earth path from each CDL motor as follows:

  • drivers door CDL lock motor (C441-4) to the CCU (C430-4) on a pink wire
  • front passenger door CDL lock motor (C441-4) to the header joint (C286-19) on a pink wire
  • (5 door models only) rear RH passenger door CDL lock motor (C442-4) to the header joint (C286-18) on a pink wire
  • (5 door models only) rear LH passenger door CDL lock motor (C442-4) to the header joint (C286-20) on a pink wire.

From the header joint (C286-17), the earth path is connected to the CCU (C430-9) by a pink wire.
