CAMSHAFT REAR OIL SEAL.

Service repair no - 12.13.10

Remove.

  1. Disconnect battery earth lead.
Remove. – Disconnect battery earth lead.
  1. Release 4 clips securing air cleaner cover.
  2. Loosen clip securing air intake hose to throttle body.
  3. Remove air cleaner cover.
  4. Remove air cleaner element.
Remove. – Remove air cleaner element.
  1. Release 2 screws securing distributor cap.
  2. Disconnect coil h.t. lead from distributor cap and move cap aside.
  3. Remove flash shield.
  4. Remove Allen screw securing rotor arm.
  5. Remove rotor arm from camshaft spindle.
Remove. – Remove rotor arm from camshaft spindle.
  1. Screw tool 18G 1299A into camshaft oil seal.
  2. Remove oil seal by tightening centre bolt tool 18G 1299A-1.
