Do not carry out further dismantling if component is removed for access only.

9. Remove fog light, hazard, and heated rear screen switches.
10. Remove 2 switch blanks from console.
11. Remove 4 screws and collect switch bezel.
12. Bend 8 tabs to release radio cage from console.
13. Remove ashtray.
14. Remove 3 screws and collect ashtray mounting bracket.
15. Remove cigar lighter element from holder.
16. Remove bulb holder from cigar lighter holder.
17. Depress clips and release cigar lighter holder from console.
18. Remove 4 screws and collect cassette tray.
19. Remove 2 screws securing gaiter clamp to console and collect clamp.
20. Remove gaiter from console.
21. Remove trim finisher from console and fit to new.
22. Fit gaiter and clamp to console and secure with screws
23. Fit cassette tray to console and secure with screws.
24. Fit cigar lighter holder to console.
25. Fit bulb holder and element to cigar lighter.
26. Fit ashtray mounting bracket to console and secure with screws.
27. Fit ashtray to console.
28. Fit radio cage to console and bend tabs to secure.
29. Fit switch bezel to console and secure with screws.
30. Fit switch blanks to console.
31. Fit fog light, hazard, and heated rear window switches to console.

Refit

1. Position front console to fascia and connect multiplugs to fog light, hazard, and heated rear screen switches.
2. Connect Lucar and multiplug to cigar lighter.
3. Fit screws securing front console to fascia.
4. Fit gear knob and secure gaiter.

NOTE: For correct fitment of gear knob, turn through 13 complete revolutions.
