HEATER VALVE

Service repair no - 80.10.16

Remove

  1. Position drain tin to collect any spillage.
Heater valve – Position drain tin to collect any spillage.
  1. Release coolant hoses from either side of heater valve.
  2. Undo 2 screws securing heater valve to mounting bracket.
  3. Release heater valve from cable and remove.

Refit

  1. Fit heater valve to mounting bracket and tighten screws.
  2. Connect heater cable to heater valve.
  3. Connect both coolant hoses to heater valve.
  4. Top-up cooling system. See MAINTENANCE.

HEATER

Service repair no - 80.20.01

Remove

  1. Disconnect battery earth lead.
  2. Position drain tray to collect any coolant spillage.
Heater – Position drain tray to collect any coolant spillage.
  1. Release clips and remove coolant hoses from heater pipes.
  2. Remove nut securing heater to bulkhead.
  3. Remove fascia. See BODY, Interior trim components.
Heater – Remove fascia. See BODY, Interior trim components.
  1. Release harness from heater.
  2. Remove screw securing heater to heater duct.
  3. Remove screw securing heater duct to blower assembly.
  4. Remove heater duct.
