  4. Fit road wheel(s) and tighten nuts to correct torque. See INFORMATION, Torque wrench settings.
  5. Rotate wheel at least one turn and measure disc run-out. Front disc run-out limit = 0.04 mm.

Run-out exceeds limit

  1. Mark wheel to stud relationship, remove wheel, again check mating surfaces for contaminants, then refit wheel 90° from previous position and recheck run-out.
  2. If run-out is still excessive, move wheel through a further 90° and recheck run-out.
  3. If run-out is still excessive, fit a new road wheel.

Run-out within limit

  1. Remove road wheel(s).
  2. Remove dial test indicator and tool 18G 191-9 .
  3. Fit caliper carrier lower mounting bolt and tighten to 108 Nm.
  4. Fit pad retainers to caliper carrier.
  5. Apply Molykote M77 to both sides of shims.
  6. Fit shims to pads and fit pads to caliper carrier.

NOTE: The pad with the integral wear indicator fits inboard of the disc.

  1. Lower caliper housing over pads, fit guide pin bolt and tighten to 27 Nm.
  2. Fit road wheel(s) and tighten nuts to correct torque. See INFORMATION, Torque wrench settings.
  3. Repeat procedure for other side.
