Tightening torques > < checking and completing

–  Raise the vehicle.
   
–  Remove bolts -1- and - 2- and remove central soundproofing panel.
–  Place below the collecting tray -T20173-.

–  Unscrew the drain plug and empty the gearbox oil.

–  Loosen oil level test and filler plug.
–  Screw the oil release control lid and tighten with the appropriate torque → Chapter.
  Note
Oil level is correct when the oil reaches the bottom edge of filling hole.
Oil specification for gears → Chapter.
–  Fill with new gear oil up to the correct level.
–  Unscrew control lid, start engine and let the gears work with engaged gear for about 2 minutes.
–  Stop the engine, remove oil cap and check level again, top up if necessary.
–  Screw the oil level and filling control lid and tighten with the appropriate torque → Chapter.
–  Install the middle soundproofing.
