Transporting and securing gearbox to assembly stand > < Gear selection mechanism

Installation
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse sequence; note the following:
–  Apply an even coat of sealing compound to the sealing surface of the gearbox cover → Electronic spare parts catalogue (ETKA).
–  Gear operation mechanism in neutral.
–  Position selector shaft in such a way that gear toe is housed in the gearbox base strips.
–  Screw on the gearbox mechanism shaft cover Tightening torque → Item
–  Install selector rod and idler rod.
  Note
The selector rod may only be placed in one position.
–  Install battery → Electrical system; Rep. gr.27.
