Control measurement

–  Insert measuring device and dial gauge. –  Turn the drive shaft a number of times to ensure the tapered-roller bearing sets. –  Press drive shaft in the direction of the arrow. –  The bearing clearance must be min. 0.01 ... max. 0.09 mm.   Note If no bearing clearance can be measured, however the input shaft has a tangible clearance fluctuation and can easily be turned, then the setting is also OK.
