E3032 External mirrors adjustment

Description

The door mirrors are adjustable electrically in both directions by means of a joystick; a slide switch selects the right or left mirror.

The button, which can be pressed in four directions, controls two electric motors located in each of the two mirrors: one motor rotates the mirror on a horizontal axis, while the other on a vertical axis.

Mirror movement is disabled with a battery voltage of less than 10 V, and takes place when the ignition is on.

The circuit is controlled by the services relay and protected by two fuses, all located in the unit under the dashboard.

In the presence of an ignition-controlled supply (INT), the Body computer energizes the relay; dudring starting, this relay is temporarily deactivated.

Description of operation

The services relay T13, located in the unit under the dashboard B2, supplies with the logic described above and controlled by the Body Computer M1 - pin 14 of connector F - the controls unit on the door H44, via two lines, protected by fuses F47 and F48.

The unit H44 incorporates the joystick and switch controlling the motors of the door mirros P60 and P61.
